Individual Study Plan IPN

The Individual Study Plan (ISP) is an effective way to combine education, passion, and work.
With the individual organization of studies at EWS, you can study at a pace that suits your needs and abilities. You determine and propose the schedule of classes, consultations, assessments, and exams. You may complete your studies within three years, but you can also extend them over time.

Study at your own pace

Students can apply for an Individual Study Plan (ISP) from the very first day of studies. This program allows students to choose subjects for each semester and academic year, adjusting the completion of courses and graduation timelines to their individual needs and capabilities.
The tuition fees remain unchanged and are equivalent to the fees for full-time studies.

Key principles of studying under ISP:

  • ISP is primarily intended for students engaged in professional sports.
  • In exceptional cases, an individual study organization may be granted to students working in professions requiring irregular working hours or those with special circumstances (e.g., family obligations, professional commitments, permanent residence outside Poland).
  • ISP is granted by the Director of the Institute (Dean) upon the student’s request.
  • ISP is awarded for one academic year.
  • The renewal of ISP for the next academic year is decided by the Director of the Institute in September upon the student’s request.
  • Students with an approved ISP must submit a written declaration to the Rector’s Representative by October 15, listing the subjects they commit to studying and completing during the semester and academic year.
  • ISP studies are spread out over time, and the implementation of course content is coordinated with the Rector’s Representative.
  • Matters not covered by the ISP regulations are handled in accordance with the Study Regulations and the Statute of the Academy of Sport Education.

Advantages of studying under an Individual Study Plan:

The ISP allows students to combine academic studies with:

  • Professional work,
  • Competitive sports,
  • Entrepreneurial activities,
  • Family obligations.

The program is also ideal for students facing temporary health challenges, such as medical treatments or rehabilitation, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Students have the right to complete practical subjects and obtain credits in sports and educational centers outside the university, provided they obtain approval from the Director of the Institute.

Students enrolled in the ISP must consult with the Director of the Institute regarding the progress and course of their studies.

SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE INSTITUTE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL STUDY PLAN (ISP).
