9th Scientific Conference "Physical Culture - Contemporary Dilemmas and Challenges"

The 9th Scientific Conference (doctoral and student) entitled "Physical Culture - Contemporary Dilemmas and Challenges" will be held on June 21, 2025. The event is organized by the Student Science Club "Education in Sport" operating at the Academy of Sport Education, under the honorary patronage of the Rector of Academy of Sport Education, prof. dr. Jacek Dembiński.

The conference is international, interdisciplinary and interuniversity in nature, and its aim is to present the research results of young scientists and exchange experiences and views in the broadly understood area of physical culture and related sciences. The proceedings will be held remotely via the MS Teams platform.

Participants

The scientific supervisor of the conference is dr. hab. Jerzy Telak, prof. Academy of Sport Education

The event will be attended by PhD and MA students from many renowned universities, including:

Police Academy in Szczytno
Lviv State University of Life Safety
IT Step University (Lviv)
Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce
Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw
Academy of Sport Education in Warsaw

Conference topics

The conference topics include medical and health sciences (in particular the discipline of physical culture sciences) and a wide area of social sciences, including:

security science
social communication and media science
political and administrative science
management and quality science
pedagogy
psychology

Participants will focus on the analysis and search for innovative solutions in the management of various forms of physical activity – both on land, in water, in airspace and cyberspace.

The aim of the event is also to review research methods and tools, identify interdisciplinary challenges and attempt their theoretical and practical verification.

Conference languages

The presentations will be conducted in three languages: Polish, Ukrainian and English

Program

The conference will begin at 9:00 and will end around 13:00. The program will include short papers (up to 10 minutes) presented by active participants.

Scientific committee

The conference is supported by a wide group of experts from many universities and fields, forming the scientific committee, including: prof. dr hab. Jan Chmura, prof. dr hab. Paweł Chmura, dr hab. Henryk Norkowski, prof. Academy of Sport Education, dr hab. Stanisław Przybylski, prof. Academy of Sport Education, PhD Taras Rak, prof. IT Step and many other outstanding specialists.
